I find beauty in everything I do. Whether I’m in the discovery phase of your project or walking my dog in the woods, I see the world through an artistic lens.

Garden design is the ART and process of creating ideas for the layout and planting of gardens and landscapes (Horticulture), encompassing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces.

I am professionally trained in the science of plant cultivation and production and work to oversee and improve the growth of quality flowers, plants, trees and shrubs.

A naturalist is any person who pays close attention to nature and shapes every aspect of their life.
What I Am Not

Landscapers are usually associated with maintenance and labor. They do not always create thoughtful, artistic designs.

I do not:
mow, edge, and fertilize lawns
Install and manage irrigation systems

Each project is uniquely tailored. There's no one-size-fits-all garden design. My discovery process unveils the personalized touches I bring to every garden.

Vermont Garden Design is equipped to design and install small hardscaping projects such as pavers and can design a retaining walls, but we do not install large projects.
